SCG SHARING THE DREAM PLAYGROUND

AT HOANG VAN THU PARK, HO CHI MINH CITY

In 2012, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with People’s Committee of Tan Binh District organized the inauguration of a free playground for children named Sharing The Dream. This is one among 10 constructions that the People’s Committee has decided on investment, construction and development the entertainment facilities for children of the city.

This project was jointly built by Tan Binh Youth Union, SCG and Khan Quang Do Magazine. The playground has an area of ​​ over 820m2, with a total investment of about 97,000 USD sponpor by SCG (Thailand).

The playground is designed for children of different ages and divided into 5 areas, including equipment for sport and entertainment needs. Areas 1 and 2 equipped with crossbar, swing, leveling bar, fixed ladder is for children from 5 to 12 years old or older. Other areas equipped with square floors, triangular floors, sliding pipes, slide bridges, rope ladders and other equipment for children aged 5-12 years are made from high-quality plastic equipment. In addition, children under 5 years old can also play in 5 areas with safety equipment for children.

Playground is open for the local. The playground was put into use to meet the demand for outdoor playgrounds to ensure the safety for both children and parents in the current situation of overcrowding in urban areas.
